6 to 8 weeks before the wedding for local guests. At 3 months out, your invitations should be at the printer or already in hand. If they are not ordered yet, place your order this week.
Most brides need 2 to 3 fittings. The first assessment when the dress arrives, a second after alterations to check the result, and a final pickup fitting. Starting fittings at 3 months gives you time for all three without rushing the seamstress.
At minimum, transportation for you and your partner from the ceremony to the reception. Consider adding transportation for the wedding party and guest shuttles if your venue is remote or has limited parking. Book 3 months out to secure the vehicles you want.
Yes, all contracts should be signed with deposits paid by this point. If any vendor is operating without a signed contract, address it immediately. Confirm that every signed contract is on file and that payment schedules are clearly documented.
